Absentee Voting

Absentee Ballot Linked Here. You can mail this or drop it off at the Henderson County Board of Elections office beginning January 2nd, 2024.

You can also send in your application through the Absentee Ballot Portal linked here beginning in January 2024.

​

Once your application is approved, your 'Primary Election' ballot will be mailed beginning Jan. 12th or 60 days prior to the Primary election date.

****NOTE: Your completed ballot MUST be at the Henderson County Board of Election office by 7:30 pm on March 5th, 2024 (primary election day). It will NOT be counted if received after that deadline. It is recommended that you mail it 10 days prior to the election (Feb. 24th, 2024) to ensure it is received in time. Otherwise, please have someone who qualifies as a 'Near-Relative' drop it off for you at the Board of Elections office before the deadline.  

A 'Near-Relative' is defined as any of the following: voter’s spouse, brother, sister, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, stepparent, or stepchild.
