Why it’s important to vote in the primary
-
Voting is your basic responsibility as a citizen. That includes in the primary elections. Voter apathy is one reason our country is in the state it is in.
-
Be an educated voter. Research the candidates. You can visit the Henderson County GOP Candidate website for information on candidates. Attend events where they are speaking. Visit the Henderson County GOP website for upcoming events.
-
For many races, who wins in the primary is likely to win in the general. The primary in that case is more important than the general election. By voting in the primary, you have a chance to greatly influence who our elected officials will be.
